Guest guest
Hi Ian I am taking 2 mg for about two weeks now for fibromyalgia. I am getting some side effects. I found it impossible to sleep on 3 mg so as I am on the liquid I went down to 2 mg. The side effects usually it seems can last 3 weeks or more as your body gets used to the raised endorphin level. You could lower the dose and see if the side effects clear up. I also had quite bad ibs for a long time. I packed in all carbs rice pasta wheat etc and sugar foods. This helped a lot. Guest guest
Ian, I am also in Sydney. unfortunately have just had to stop LDN due to severity of side effects because of my chemical sensitivities but still extremely interested and wonder whether it could still be of benefit if taken on a not daily basis to avoid build up of symptoms. Can I ask who is your prescribing doctor? Treveen

Inflamation of the rectum (making the passing of stools very difficult & painfull.)...LDN may cause some constipation due to it's diuretic effect but it shouldn't cause inflamation of the rectum. > 2. Upper Sinus pain at night...Most likely not LDN related. > 3. Needing less sleep at night...Yes, most likely LDN related. If you want LDN to work properly for you, you must take LDN properly every night...not just when you remember it. Get one of those pill boxes with an alarm that's set for the same time nightly. The ONLY time you need to miss LDN is when you are due for medical procedures that require an anesthetic or if you require a narcotic drug.
