I think you should check something out Sweetie! DO NOT cancel surgery, they have to get the OK from your ins. co. before they can even set a date. Since you have a date I think it is pre-Ok'd..... I have never known any insurance that wasn't that way even State Welfare Medicaid! I know this because Sweetie I have had to have so MANY Surgeries, and many times just before they would try to say I didn't have any ins... But I had gotten wise enough to check and find out that they have to pay it because it had pre-authorization! So I do think you have the ropes on your side & in your hands. Also check it out about not paying meds because I am almost POSITIVE that they have to give you notice and it has to be by certified mail so they can say without dispute "See we have the letter she signed for to prove she had notice!" So Please Hun Check This Out. I was a Nurse as well as a para-legall so I don't know all the Laws everywhere but that is pretty much governed by the government everywhere!
