Maltodextrin plays hell on your blood chemistry and insulin levels, and

may have some connenction to gluten sensitivity, as it's a grain

byproduct and may definitely feed the yeast, let alone irritate your

respiratory and GI tract.

Thank you, it seems I need to get a different brand of ALA. Is there a problem

with magnesium stearate or silicone dioxide as well? Do I have to avoid those?

I know this was just covered, but I cannot find the information right

now. I just picked up my script for ldn at 3.0 mg. that I will be

starting this evening. I asked the pharmacist a few questions...(1)

do they use the pure naltrexone powder--he told me that they do; (2)

when I asked what filler was used, the told me lactose, but if I would

prefer a different filler he would make another batch.

Is lactose a good filler for ldn? I hate to ask, but I can't seem to

find the " approved " list in my searches.

Thanks in advance!

if you're not lactose intollerant. I use Skip's and he only uses avicel so that's the only filler I've ever had. As long as it's not slow release (corn starch or sometimes calcium carbonate) you should be alright.

http://www.gazorpa.com has a page on the fillers
