I have AST Sports Science brand GABA which comes with a scoop - each scop is one gram. I just made a crude measurement and 1 teaspoon is approximately 3 grams (3 scoops). Victor. Victor, that sounds about right. I received a response from Bob Lawrence,

who says that a tsp. is approximately 2 grams.
