Guest guest Posted June 7, 2006 Report Share Posted June 7, 2006 In women, yes, and for men it supplies extra Testosterone as they age - plus they are getting too many estrogen-like sub- stances from radiated and GM- foods and the (estrogen-mimicking) fumes from the plastic on the inside of their cars, and the air. I guess meno- and andropause "pre-dispose" many people to (at least borderline) diabetes and insulin-resistence which in turn favors obesity.
