pred & LDN

If I take a few days of oral pred or IV pred, should I stop LDN? Yes, I do realize one suppresses immune system and one boosts it, but don't I remember a while back some discussions about using both at the same time and getting a boosted effect? Thanks in advance for all your help/opinions/experiences. PS I'm the American who was diagnosed in 8/05 and is in UK. I just came back from two weeks in USA to bury my father. The funeral was beautiful, and my dad got a 21-gun salute (that was cool). But the week after was a nightmare because we were busy with bank fraud reports and police reports because we discovered that his caregiver forged his name on some checks and stole over $45,000 from him. I think I'm suffering from my first exacerbation involving my legs and hands.

I have not ever heard that the combo gives an added boost. My neighbor was

taking LDN 4.5mg and took IV steroids and the steroids didn't work nor did the

LDN work anymore until the steroids were out of her system. She thought she

could do both and get an extra boost and instead she lost what she'd gained on

LDN until 3 months later after the steroids were out of her system. The only

time you need steroids for MS while on LDN is if you are in a bad exacerbation.

Some have had the steroids to work while on LDN but so far all I've seen are the

ones on 3.0mg LDN. Maybe I've missed somebody.
