Guest guest
Hi Gessica I have had this symptom since I was in my early 20's, (I'm now 45) long before my diagnosis 4 years ago. Drs blamed it on stress way back but I now know its a chiari thing. It's not painful, just a very weird sensation, that travels down my extremities. Mostly on my left side. As the illness has progressed, it is all over my body now. Crazy!! It must be a nerve thing. Maybe someone else will have a better explanation why it happens. I don't think too much about it when it happens. Just think to myself, here we go... lol Have a great day cindy
Guest guest
Funny.. I was just about to post this in the tethered cord group. I am getting these weird tremors now. But yes I have had those types of sensations.. It must be nerve/cord/brain related somehow.I did have severe numbness that lasted for hours, however that was a muscular issue. You may want to check into that if your hand or leg etc goes numb for hours at a time. For me it was posture/muscular/nerve related due to stress and how I was sitting/walking etc.Had some physical therapy and massage/trigger point injections. If you have severe numbness e-mail me and call your doctor. Subject: Re: A new symptom: did you have it too?
