Guest guest
Hi there Hyper Hans and everyone else I have been reading all the posts (except for when people don't trim off the excess as said before when you get the digest reading the same thing over and over is a drag.) and I am one of the very happy LDN users that doesn't get up at all most nights, depending on how much I have had to drink before bed of course. I have been on three mgs for over two years now and while I am no " poster child " for LDN I have very few bad days and am not loosing ground at all compared to those without the benefits of LDN. My nueropathic pain has never come back and I have not ever felt the need to self inject, probably much to the dismay of the MS society here, and being a mentor for this said society I have been (not so quietly promoting the benefits of this regimin)kind of against their will. I rankled a few people at the last meeting by asking a rep from the society why we are not researching this drugs actions on how MS is being helped by this very cheap(at least around here) drug. There was a mumbled " well you gotta be carefull with the long term effects of " alternative " treatments, and he went on to another question and ignored me from then on... I saw a lot of promtional papers and products from Teva nueroscience (Rebif) so I knew who I was fighting here. What made me mad was that the first thing this person who is supposed to be their P.R. spokesman said was " We are working at trying to put ourselves out of business " meaning the M.S. society, And he said this with a big smile on his face like we were supposed to believe it.How many times have I heard this before? To get back to the suggestion that we have to watch out for the long term effects well what are the long term effects of the injectable crab drugs? I think they sound pretty dire to me,fluelike symptoms, taking massive amounts of tylenol or such before the shot just to help with this, injection site cell death, and suicidal tendancys, plus possible kidney problems or liver failure and now maybe a tendancy toward osteoporosis? Lets see maybe a little sleeplessness, and a few wild dreams ain't that bad Oh sure there has not been any tests done and probably the results, in the event of a test being done, will only be inconclusive and need to be redone but except for a very few postings stating that even the smallest amount of naltrexone is causing big problems there has been very little bad press. Maybe the people with those problems should use only the crab drugs as they were those that these have been designed for. Now I never meant to rile anyone I just had to vent. Thanks for being such a compassionate group Reg
