What to expect after Filum Terminale Section Release Tethered Cord Surgery

Howdy Folks ! I am in the process of scheduling my Filum Terminale Section

Release Sugery for Tethered Cord Symptoms at The Chiari Institute in New York

with Dr. B.. How long should I expect to be in the Hospital after this surgery

? Can you start walking around the Hospital 24 hours after this surgery ? I

would rather not lay in bed for three days straight. When I go home, will I

have any trouble walking up a flight of stairs because my bed is on the second

floor ? Should I be able to take care of myself 100% when I get home because

there really is no one else there that can help me ? Do you have to get

stitches taken out at the incision site sometime after the surgery ? Just

trying to get some idea what this whole adventure will be like. Any feedback is

greatly appreciated. Adios.
