Guest guest
, I liked your funny story!! I, too, have seen that same look of horror on a bureaucrat's face when I ask for more space to write. It still gets me every time! I like your idea about using the Charge pamphlet to outline Kennedy's problems. You are a smart lady. It took me over 5 years to figure out how to explain Destiny easily. I stock up on those pamphlets and highlight what affects Destiny, the outcomes (i.e. hearing aids, surgery, resolved) and surgical dates. BTW, get used to those small spaces to " List all medical problems. " Another one that kills me is: " List all hospitalizations, reasons and dates " and they give you one line. LOL!! Destiny was hospitalized so much as a baby for asthma, pneumonia and surgeries I lost count years ago, let alone remembering dates! I just put " multiple hospitalizations for illness Jan '93-May '96. " No one has ever questioned that response. Just to let you know, the hospitalizations do get better. The May '96 date was the last time Destiny was in the hospital for illness--YEA!! Guest guest
, We too are hoping that the hospitalizations slow down! We've been thankful that she hasn't been in since late July! WOO HOO! It's been a blissfully peaceful last couple of months <knock on wood!>. Glad to hear Destiny's hospital visits are long past and may they stay that way!
