Guest guest
Hi all, Just thought (while we're on the subject of prescriptions) that here in the UK, new rules came out in April 2009 which means that anyone who is long term disabled can visit their GP surgery, where they fill in a form, obtain the GP's signature to confirm their disability and subsequently receive a plastic 'Medical Exemption' card through the post which means they don't have to pay for prescriptions anymore - yippee!! So, you can then get all your Vitamin D, pain meds, stomach meds, skin creams lotions and potions and Scholl Ultima (Class 1) hold-up support stockings (to help with the symptoms of P.O.T.S.) for FREE! Only just found out myself, so there may also be lots of you out their still uninformed and paying their £7 odd per item.
