Guest guest
Hi Larry I don't post to often but I thank you for all your info. My wife (no MS, no LDN) had bad effects such as halos at nite tried eyes etc... By very careful who you use. My wife has sued the doc she used thats have bad it turned out. She did not research very well and got a loser. She has a stigmatism and should not have been a candidate. After the fact we found a Dr Donenfeld(Mercy Hosp Rockville center( to be the guru). Good Luck... Guest guest
I don't know anything about taking LDN after LASIK, but my husband just had LASIK surgery about 1 month ago and he said there was very little pain and he's really glad he had it done. He had both eyes operated on at the same time and they gave him monovision. His only concern has been dry eyes and they say that may correct itself. Good Luck. During the actual procedure, do you get opiate based meds to help you? I'm considering getting it done. Of course I'd have to go through the pre-op tests to ensure I am a candidate, but after my ophthalmologist appointment the doc said he thinks I'm a candidate. He suggested getting only one eye done, leaving the other 'for reading'. Anyone on LDN have the procedure done?
Guest guest
Hi , I had it done in April 2006. I have no regrets. My theory was they weren't putting any foreign objects unlike my implants therefore okay so I went ahead with it. I have no regrets and I can see. Guest guest
, I desperately need to get lasik, but I am so scared to do it as well. I understand your concerns and worries, trust me. I will not do it since the "safe" saline implants, I really don't trust anything the FDA approves. Good Luck Donna

Guest guest
I agree with Rogene, on Lasik. I know there are many people who are thrilled with the results, but there are also others who have experienced horrific problems. But Lasik doesn't seem to have the same types of dangers that implants do..i.e., possible illness, and so the biggest question that comes into play is probably related to the skill of the doctor more than anything else. I certainly would go for the best doctor I could afford. Improvements in techniques and technology are always occurring, so waiting is always safe. My daughter wears contacts, (which cause me some concerns over glasses), and I'd love it if her vision could be improved so that she no longer needs them, but we will certainly wait until she is much older, like a decade! We'll see what's available then. Patty Re: Lasik , I desperately need to get lasik, but I am so scared to do it as well. I understand your concerns and worries, trust me.
