Guest guest
During my first week on LDN, I struggled with getting to sleep. I was also taking Provigil and after a day or two of realizing that LDN makes me feel great and I don't need Provigil (at least in the morning), I began taking Provigil at lunchtime to try and combat that afternoon Zombie state. Well, I still had my zombie state, but thanks to Provigil, I was totally unable to get to bed at a decent hour. Finally I decided to stop taking Provigil altogether and it's been great! I have wonderful energy in the morning, I still have to take it easy in the afternoon---not a total zombie, but I decided it's my body's way of saying... " HELLO!...I'm sick and DO still need a rest, so take it easy already!! " . Lesson learned: Stick with the least amount of meds possible to keep a " normalish " life. I now just take LDN and when in pain, Alleve or Motrin. I believe in moving as much as possible and striving to eat right. I've been more energetic than ever, I'm losing weight (I'm not terribly overweight, but I " ve been wanting to lose a few pounds--thanks again LDN!), I'm just overall feeling SO MUCH BETTER! I'm doing things I haven't done in a long time---I used to struggle to get to church on Sunday's...now I'm going! MS hasn't limited me much at all these days, it's a whole new life! I wish you all the best in your MS and hope LDN is working for you. If you're new to LDN, be patient and adjust things to let the LDN work--you may want to consider coming off meds that you may be able to do without---LDN is amazing and for many of us works to combat so much more than any other MS treatment...what a blessing! Thank you everyone for all the information on so many topics! Now, how do I balance MS and 3 young active little ones running around the house?!!! hehe Have a great day!
