Guest guest
Hi all, My husband has been getting violent jerks through his body which is really scaring him, aswell as his drop attacks. Does any of you know what these jerks are? Thanks Liz
Guest guest
They are called Myoclonus or myoclonic jerks,Liz. I get them too. It's scary because it jerks my whole body back and forth and with my major instability at the skull base, I know it can't be doing it any good. He can take Flexeril in the evening and that should stop them. It does for me. Myoclonus is not as important as the drop attacks. If he has those, he needs to find a good, fulltime CM specialist and have surgery (I'd suspect). Drop Attacks are a red flag symptom of brainstem compression.
