Guest guest
It is so hard to explain to people how bad chiari is, how it can affect and destroy people's lives. I have been watching my teen daughter's battle with her symptoms. This poor child has gone through so much. Yesterday she told me " I want to go to school with kids like me, kids that understand chiari " . She has been ignored and excluded by other kids because she is different. She does not always feel well, cannot play soccer or basketball....She is doing well after her decompression but lately started showing symptoms of depression again. Have other people gone through that? What worked? Any suggestions? I do not have a chiari and had a " normal " childhood. She has never had a " normal childhood " . Watching her makes me cry every day. Y
