Guest guest
Hi folks, For the last month or so we've been receiving an inordinate number of 'problem' messages - ones that are clearly spam or appear to come from members who have computers that are infected with various worms, trojans, etc. We're reminding you to keep your anti-virus program updated and, if you're using Internet Explorer, suggest that you update to the most recent, secure version. We understand that none of our members are sending these messages intentionally. But in an effort to protect our members we've decided on a new policy: If we receive one of these questionable messages we will email you when we reject it. Hopefully you'll be able to track down the problem and clean your computer. But if we receive three of these questionable messages from you we will notify you that we're temporarily removing you from the group. Please contact us after you've cleaned your computer of all viruses/worms/trojans, etc., so that we can reinstate your membership. Please understand that we don't take removing someone from CCI lightly. But we felt we had to do this to protect all our members. If you have any questions about this please don't hesitate to email us. Thanks to all of you for helping keep CCI such a great group! , Kathleen, Virginia, , and
