Guest guest
Interesting, Kiki. Although Dr. Lawrence recommends Ambrotose, he also says that we can get the necessary glyconutrients from the following: kelp, four tablets each day, Aloe vera, 15 mls twice daily, and shark cartilage 500 to 1000 mg twice daily. Guest guest
Hi , I'd just like to clarify, as I have been talking to Dr. Lawrence every day about glycos. He does not truly recommend Ambrotose, per se - he recommends trying glycos, but not a particular brand or type - he actually feels Ambrotose is way too expensive so he suggests that one can use what you have stated here in the information you have given us. He feels glycos are very promising and exciting - Ambrotose is just one of the possibilities. If one can afford it, it should be no less than 6 tsp per day, which comes to a lot of money. Mannatech (who manufactures Ambrotose) says 12 tsp if you are having a bad time plus 3 other supps. Wow - lots of money! Dr. Lawrence alluded to the fact that even 12 tsp. may not be enough - but every person is different and responds differently, so I can't say what will and will not work. The kelp is 100 mg per tablet. That was not defined by him originally. The cartilage can be either shark or bovine. Bovine is actually thought to be better than shark (because it is the -4, rather than the -6 type.) My friend with MS started on glycos this week - I put together a "cocktail" for her consisting of separate capsules - WAY less expensive and more potent than Ambrotose (NOT to say that you shouldn't take Ambrotose if you want.). Dr. Lawrence says that so much Ambrotose is needed because the formula is so weak per dose (tsp.) I hope this helps. Merry Christmas, ! You are such a great help here . . . Victor.
