Guest guest
Hi Everyone, My husband and I are struggling to decide what I should do with myself and working. Some days I might get there and work 2 hours and some days right now I can't get into work, like today. It took 2 1/2 hours to get ready and then I pulled out of the driveway and stopped because I had severe nausea and thought I was going to throw up. I decided it wasn't worth it. Came back inside and called and said, I wasn't coming in. This has been going on for awhile and it's been just building. My husband asked me today to think about applying for disability. I don't want to because I feel like I have failed but I'm not sure he isn't right. But can I even do that if I have been working even if my hours have been going down each and every week? I have been reading that you have to have not worked for over a year before applying. It seems as though I should be proactive rather than waiting until its been so long out of work. Thanks, again guys.
Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I received several good responses to my post. Thank you very much. I am going to at least investigate the possibility. It's very emotional for me so I will be working on that part of it as well. Thanks again. . . getting ready to go for a DEXA scan today. They tell me it's painless, YAY! > > Hi Everyone, > > My husband and I are struggling to decide what I should do with myself and working. Guest guest
That would not be true but you will need a functionl copacity test done by your doctor not SSA they really have no clue about this condition and would probally say there is nothing wrong with you as I found out the hard way a represenative would help a lot. just my experiance with them but you do not have to wait a year to apply just that it will last more then a year.
