Guest guest
Greetings I posted this link yesterday but did not read the entire article till this morning. It was written by members of the research team for the new DSM V. I was unaware they were considering putting something like Cassandra in the next DSM V here in the USA???? Tony was scheduled to discuss Cassandra but got side tracked the other evening. It would of been interesting to hear his comments on this. The article discusses the history from when Maxine introduced the concept to their proposed relationship disorder that does not target "any" disability. The article also expresses the concerns from some groups that have opposed this concept. This is just a proposal. A release of the final, approved DSM-V is expected in May 2012. Will Cassandra be included as a relationship disorder? Any comments? Affective Deprivation Disorder: Does it Constitute a Relational Disorder? Harriet F.
