I quit Copaxone about a month before I started LDN. The neurologist asked me how the injections were going and I told him I quit them and wanted a prescription for LDN. I explained that I understand there is no 'proof' that it works or does anything and that I was willing to accept that risk. He gave me the prescription. ly, I did not notice anything from Copaxone but a growing feeling that it was not very helpful (clinical trials showing it to be ineffective for 2 out of 3 people taking it and increased MRI lesions both in number and size), anathema for the shots, and as a consequence of these two considerations, increasing dissatisfaction with the extreme cost of the medication. As for how I quit, I just forgot one day then the next and after a few, and I was reading about LDN, I just never went back. I had 20 shots left over when I quit. I never noticed anything bad from quitting Copaxone. Since summer, I have been noticeably less depressed than a year ago, when on Copaxone, but much has changed in that time unrelated to drugs or MS which might also account for the change.
