Hi , My name is Vicki and I live in Calif. I was on Avonex for 5 years and went to Rebiff for about a month and a half very, very depressed. I just quit, I also was on Copaxone but had a bad reaction to it after a month. But all the times I quit I was fine actually I FELT BETTER, that was strange all the crab drugs were supposed to help? I have beed on 4.5 LDN for a month and a half, I have been having an upset stomach and they are trying filler number 3 but what I did for my stomach was get fresh ginger grate it and put it in hot tea. In about 15 min. youre fine. I'll never go back to the CRAB drugs, vicodine, morphine or oxicotton!!! Hope this helps Kennard <nathan@...> wrote: ,> Have you or anybody here come off Copaxone and if so, how did you do it?> For example, did you slowly

ease off?I quit Copaxone about a month before I started LDN. The neurologist asked me how the injections were going and I told him I quit them and wanted a prescription for LDN. I explained that I understand there is no 'proof' that it works or does anything and that I was willing to accept that risk. He gave me the prescription.ly, I did not notice anything from Copaxone but a growing feeling that it was not very helpful (clinical trials showing it to be ineffective for 2 out of 3 people taking it and increased MRI lesions both in number and size), anathema for the shots, and as a consequence of these two considerations, increasing dissatisfaction with the extreme cost of the medication. As for how I quit, I just forgot one day then the next and after a few, and I was reading about LDN, I just never went back. I had 20 shots left over when I quit. I never noticed anything bad from quitting Copaxone. Since

summer, I have been noticeably less depressed than a year ago, when on Copaxone, but much has changed in that time unrelated to drugs or MS which might also account for the change.

I did the same exact thing. The shots were making me

sick so I went to taking them every other day. then I

just stopped taking it al together.. the depression

eased up and my joints felt better. I cn't take any

of the crab's. LDN has helped a lot.
