Dr. Holly -- re-read his answer

Thought I would chime in here just to be fair. I agree that too many docs

generalize a " mild chiari " as insignificant and do not consider the symptoms,

and that is a sad thing. However, this article by Dr. Holly, in both the

question and his answer they were referring to having a herniation but no

symptoms. Then he would recommend just watching it. He also stated that if the

herniation was big and there was a syrinx and still no symptoms he would

recommend surgery.
