Guest guest
Hey , Dr. B has a good video about shunts on the TCI website. I'm sorry but the truth of the matter, a lot of things can go wrong with shunts. The size of ventricles have a big part in how often you can have problems. Like Dr. B says, don't get upset at the shunt, just get it fixed. It's just one of those things in life, can't live with them and can't live without them. Guest guest
It occurred to me that maybe you never should have been shunted in the first place! This would explain why you feel terrible, and your doctor is digging his heels in about removing it. This happened to me! I had my shunt disabled at my insistence in January, and a large portion of it removed, and so far so good! I need to go back now and get the rest of it out. What are the details of your emergency that caused the shunt to be installed?
