I recently spoke with a massage therapist regarding a massage. I told her that

she would need to avoid my C-1 and skull because of decompression. I think she's

afraid of me and asked that I get a note from my doc saying was ok. Well, I was

decompressed 11 years ago, so I've not been back in a long time. I have some

hypermobility and pain from ribs coming out of place, as well as muscle

achiness. I have a ropy-like area that runs along the back of the spine. She

said she does Body Somatic Therapy and thought it was not what I want to have

done.

Does anyone have an opinions regarding this kind of massage and massage in

general?
