Guest guest
Hi Jo, It's been a long, Long, LONG two months for me. But I have hung in there, thanks to the stills family, my family, My Husband and my Faith. I went from having pnenomnia to having lymphadonapathy to having horrible sinus infections and then having a fungal infection too. Then in the middle of all of this I had to see my endocrinologist (who is a resident). My T4 for the last year was .56 (when .50 is very low) but he refused to put me on thyroid). Even though I had every symptom in the book for hypo-thyriodism, he said he only treats it if it shows up as Low next to the number. Well. I ass my GP today and took the graph of my thyroid tests to her and we went over the symptoms. She shook her head. She said she doesn't understand why some doctors don't listen anymore but they don't and she put me on thyroid med. I hope it helps me have a bit of a more normal life. I am sorry that you are having a tough time too. My husband actually bought me a tray that goes over the bed so I can get on the computer when I am in bed (which is pretty much most of the time (except when I am trying to exercise). It's crazy. I really hope the thyroid med helps me so I can manage my cold-intolerance better. I haven't been able to get any of my infusions now since early May - Hopefully my GP will clear me in Mid July for that. Hang in there. Try to stay positive.. Hugs, Alli
