Guest guest
Joanna, make sure you don't have an infection. Teeth are tricky, you may need an anti-biotic. Don't forget , any infection causes symptoms to flair. UTI's are known for it and we don't even know when we have them sometimes. I would not lower the dose of LDN. Guest guest
I of corse am no doctor, but with the LDN, Dr. Bihari says that symptoms may flare due to a stressful event but to rest, relax and stay with your normal doasage and everything should settle down. The trick is, even if we worry, even if its just a little, worry and our anxieties will have us in a flare. So I'd say, if its prayer, mediatation, or whatever it is you do to channel peace and calm into your heart, do that, give yourself some well needed rest and tell yourself that all will be well. Just let the meds do its thing. Hope this helps! I'm keeping you in my prayers! --jc A Worrier of the Light sometimes thinks: " If I do not do something, it will not be done " . Guest guest
Oh yes! Kiki is right on it about the infection!!! Best to make sure of that as well. But still don't panic (I know easier said than done) Panic only makes everything worse. At least you may have a clue to what is going on. --jc A Worrier of the Light sometimes thinks: " If I do not do something, it will not be done " . Guest guest
"i am having more and new symptoms everyday. i had a tooth pulled 2 weeks ago, so i'm thinking that it could be that " Hi Johanna, I found your post interesting. I have been at the dentist twice the last month. I avoided an extraction thank god, only needed a temporary filling and am gettign it permantley filled with a composite filling after xmas. But when I was at the dentist I needed a local anaesthetic for that tooth and I had the worst fatigue I ahve had in a long time for 2 weeks after. At first I thought coincidence but I now am realyl convinced that since that visit my MS is goen haywire cause of it. I had to go back two weeks later for another small filling and I had no anaesthetic this time....my dentist is nice and pretty good and ther ewas no need for anaesthetic with such a small filing so we did it without. I do have to go back after xmas though as I will need the temporary filling taken out and replaced with a permanent..I'm dreading it. They are getting in a different anaesthetic for me and fingers crossed i won't get such bad fatigue this time. I'm wondering whether you reacted to an anesthetic too and it may well have triggered a flare. I am falring mad since and I'm at a loss too in ways as I'm taking 4.5mg LDN since September and at this stage i'm not sure whether to decrease it or stay on the same dose. I have awful stiffness. My stiffness is a new symtpoms which gradually came on 4 months after my baby was born but now since last week my left eye is a little hazy. My first MS symptoms nearly 6 years ago was optic neuritis but it was in my rigth eye..i've never had left eye troubles so I consider this a new symptom in a way and I'm after loosing faith in LDN in ways. I was on LDN in 2004 for 6 weeks and then fell pregnant. LDN seemed to do more for me in that 6 weeks than it has this time but it has been a very hard year for me with a baby so I think it will be harder for LDN to work on me anyway if you know what I mean. Anyway I hope you figure out your dose...sorry I'm no help really but jsut wante dto empathise and it is nice too to know someone else is goign through what you are goign through and understands. Take care and Happy Xmas! p.s meant to say I'm on the BBD too...not as rigidly as before my abby was born but vevertheless as well as I can and I take all the supplements and more too that Dr. Lawrence recommended I take.
