Guest guest
A sulfur preparation called NuStock, available at the animal feed store locally, saved my cat's life because it instantly relieved the intense itching that was driving her to full exhaustion. Before that, diatomaceous earth had helped her a little but not enough. So probably any sulfur mixed with some oil would do if you can't find the NuStock. This did not solve the problem but saved her life. But now since discovering the freeze dried, raw, and organic foods she is a new cat!! The skin condition is getting so much better though she is not yet well from it. She has only been on the raw food that is freeze dried for about a month,. She also gets the Stella and Chewy's Duck, Duck, Goose freeze dried raw Dinner though it is for dogs. I just pull it apart into cat sized bites. She loves it. Sometimes she gets little frozen 'bricks' of raw and organic meats and veggie and fats mixed in the proper ratios for cats. It is of course, thawed first. A few times a week she gets a good egg from properly raised chickens. I could not in good conscience put her back on Science Diet or any other of what I now consider trash food. She is about 13 years old but not sure about that since she was a young stray when we got her. Best wishes to you and your kitty. pj ps NuStock is about 75% sulfur.
