Guest guest
If it's MS-related, Dr. Lawrence in the UK recommends taking the following before bedtime: calcium (1000 mg), magnesium (500 mg), MSM (1 gram), and GABA (a tsp. dissolved in a little water). Another gram of MSM should be taken earlier in the day. Has your daughter tried rubbing IcyHot or another methol-based cream on her legs? The patches help too and this is all over-the-counter. And ThermaCare patches for heat. I spent the first year of MS with my legs elevated--after coming home from work--and covered with heating pads (dry and wet/dry). Then, of course, there are the lidocaine patches (prescription) that I've mentioned a couple of times lately. Others in the group have talked about milk thistle.
