My wife, , has been taking 4.5 mg since July 2004. She had a

somewhat " bad " exacerbation late summer and early autumn, probably due

to so many 100-105 degree days and the stress of moving 600 miles. She

did IV steroids Oct. 28 - 30 and it was very effective in reversing the

exacerbation. She did not take LDN for about a week during and after

steroids because, in my opinion, 1000 mg. of solumedrol IV per day for 3

days is probably so immensely more powerful than LDN, why bother? She's

back on 4.5 mg since then and doing much, much better.

taking LDN 4.5mg and took IV steroids and the steroids didn't work nor did the

LDN work anymore until the steroids were out of her system. She thought she

could do both and get an extra boost and instead she lost what she'd gained on

LDN until 3 months later after the steroids were out of her system. The only

time you need steroids for MS while on LDN is if you are in a bad exacerbation.

Some have had the steroids to work while on LDN but so far all I've seen are the

ones on 3.0mg LDN. Maybe I've missed somebody.
