The pharmacist found out the error and called the doctor! Can you

believe that? I was toxic with lithium! It causes confusion and

agitation! It could have led to a coma and death.

Yes, I can believe it! And that would be the very last time I ever went to THAT quack!!! Sorry for being so blunt, but I now understand why more than 100,000 people die each year from GOOD medical care! Have you ever thought of giving up on traditional Western medicine?

Hi Glitter and all;

Here's one for you. I went radical yesterday and put my money where my

mouth is. I cancelled my Medicare. With all the dire emergencies i've

had (none), i don't see much use for it. If i break a bone or smash

myself up i'll either have to croak or cough up the $100,000 to have my

pinky finger set or something.

Yes, I'm slowly " withdrawing " from it!

Every time I'm tempted to make an appointment for something, I now

instead look for natural alternatives first. But I can't afford a

real nutritionist or holistic healer, they are expensive.

I'm now taking several supplements to lower my cholesterol, and

starting on a diet and exercise program. If I can lose 30 lbs, most

of my medical problems will go away.

Best,

Melody

Things run differently in Australia. We basically have free medical care.

If I were in need of emergency surgery (or even a broken bone), I would get

it, probably would need to pay for the anaesthetist or something like that.

Might cost a few hundred dollars, not thousands. Elective surgery is the

same, however you go on a waiting list. We do have private health insurance,

which would get you in straight away for elective surgery and allow you to

choose your doctor etc.
