So I have this patient with hyperthyroidism --she wants treatment but not

any that medicine has to to offer; writes me lengthy letters, many

of them, Why don 't I respond, she is waiting, sigh.

I did respond but after 1 or 2 I said there was nothing else to

say and I could not continue the correspondence

I figure she will never come back

Then I get a call one day after not seeing her for 2 yrs and she

wants a pill for anger just to get home because someone stole something

or something. I am reluctant but I forget, I called in 1 lorazepam or

buspar.. or something warned her about drowsiness--. she calls me

and yells at me that was a nerve pill .Well yeah So I figure I will never

see her again

So lately she shows up after no contact in like 18mo or something and she is

horribly depressed. She is an energy healer you see and cannot make a living in

Maine .Well of course not.

She says you know, people here are skeptical

Duh.

and she has no money and there is a love affair gone

bad and she is not young, and some bad things that happened in the

past somewhere etcetc so I begin to work with her and

of course she has no money but we make our way

forward inch by inch- I will skip the medical part ......

Comes in today after a few more weeks' delay than I would

like- I mean due to her funds- but I know it will do her good to come in

to talk,right. She lives alone few contacts you know

So today she rates herself pretty low on a rating scale but

answers many questions much more positively than previously and i

see she is smiling. I have not ever seen her smile

She tells me how last time I " did something with the verbal

work " Did I see her shoulder twitch?

uh no

" yes we call it myoclonal jerk. " I crack up and say well

we call it that too.

She says " but there was energy unwinding You did that with

the verbal work "

I mean, I assure you I don't do " energy " ok ? Wadda we

gonna do- next,HUG for pete's sake?

and she tells me yes i unwound the energy, that shoulder is where

things start .

I kinda think it might have been the fluoexetine + the interaction but

well

she's better.

oh and she paid me some money

Such a thing ,human beings.
