Guest guest
I for one don't appreciate her " unsubscribe me " messages on all the posts especially on my messages where I'm trying to help someone who is struggling with cancer. I've sent her a private message and hope she has the decency to apologise.
Guest guest
Becky Crews is also fighting cancer and does not want to have to clear dozens of DMSO emails off her account every day. I wouldn't use this method if I had not already tried everything else I know of. I just want a DMSO-free email. The Blackberry filter is not working either. At least I'm getting suggestions and some help now. Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry
Guest guest
If you have tried all of these things, what do you think as members of the group that we can do that you have not already done. I know of nothing else you can do if you have tried 1. Auto opt out using link at tail end of each message 2. filter on your blackberry 3. Contacting Yahoo 4. Contacting moderator to ask if there is anything you have missed. Since the link in " 1 " above is working to let you send the e-mail, then yahoo comes next. What response did you get from Yahoo when you inquired to them? When did you inquire to yahoo and how long did it take them to get back to you as this is not instantaneous. When you used the filter on your Blackberry and it did not work, what did your provider for your Blackberry tell you was the reason that their filter was not working and how do they propose to fix the filter that is not working? Since this looks as if it is important to many instead of one, it surely is worth the time to chase a link at a time until you find a solution for one and all. Guest guest
Never heard from Yahoo and these 'unsubscribe' messages were my attempt to get the moderator's attention. I was not aware I could get my service provider involved. I will try that as well as contacting Yahoo again. Thank you very much for your assistance. Guest guest
Whoever is providing the software that makes your Blackberry receive and send e-mails has a specific program for this job. That piece of software will have very sophisticated filters on it that will let you filter an individual sender or a group sender. They should have an on line tutor to teach you how to use the filter. Typically filters are " self learning " . Once you start marking e-mails from the DMSO group as junk, the filter will learn that you think these e-mails are junk and will start dropping all of them into the spam folder. After awhile, you will be getting few or none and about the time you have worked your own problem and do not need them, Yahoo will get back to you. Guest guest
I own the list but I do not maintain your subscriptions for you. My suggestion is to invest your time in finding solutions rather than in petulantly demanding that others do for you what you need to do for yourself. Perhaps this has something to do with your health issues and is an object lesson? Life has a funny way of delivering exactly the information we need if we only are able to receive it. Guest guest
So it's OK for you to upset other people? Being ill does not mean you can discount the feelings of other contributors. I hope you manage to unsubscribe. > > Becky Crews is also fighting cancer and does not want to have to clear dozens of DMSO emails off her account every day.
