Re: Federal Register April 7 and Transmittal 747

The Federal Register clearly states that unbder 419.21 that Outpt PPS

is effective on July 1 except section 419.22 which goes on to state

about Outpt Therapies being paid on a Fee Schedule.

Transmittal 747 breaksdown the minute structure for Outpatient PPS

for

Therapy. Effective Date April 1, 2000.

My question: Is transmittal 747 in effect that we should go to that

minute breakdown?

The wording of Outpt PPS is confusing on Transmittal 747.
