Guest guest
Gatorade is a drink to replace fluids lost while exercising and perspiring (water, carbs and electrolytes) My doc told my son not to drink it as a habit, only after a Basketball game because it is not healthy and can do harm to his kidneys. OJ and Gatorade have a lot of sugar, sugar gives you a rush and then you crash....being you have a narcoleptic problem, I think you should stay away from sugar. It is not good for those of us with MS either. Kiki
Guest guest
Correct, thanks. My sweet tooth is a downfall, I have cut many drinks with half H2O to continue getting some benefit but half the sugar. When I cut some desired food/drink out completely the body sets up a craving for it and that can get ugly.....I'm not being glib, that is only my view on understanding how my own chemistry works; a little sweet keeps the cravings at distance. I'm paying for being ignorant early on, now need to back off gradually. noclue915@... wrote: Gatorade is a drink to replace fluids lost while exercising and perspiring (water, carbs and electrolytes) My doc told my son not to drink it as a habit, only after a Basketball game because it is not healthy and can do harm to his kidneys.
