excess E also results in high anxiety...especially if there's not enough E receptors to utilize the excess E. -J.Liz Vernand wrote: Hello, Okay, this might sound stupid but I'm

still trying to figure what the heck happened to me and why I got hit so hard with anxiety. I guess it is possible it's totally unrelated to hormones. But I was thinking. IF I have a build up of P inside of me somewhere. And I have low E, though, I don't have hot flashes but some low E symptoms, is it possible that even though, I might be using lots of E, the extra P in me (that does not show up in blood), could it be blocking the E that I use, hence the reason for the larger amounts of E that I seem to need? When in reality, I really do have enough E in me but the excess P (via salvia) is blocking the E.? Though my E salvia is off the charts. Does this make any sense? How the heck do I get the P out of me? How would I know when it's gone and I'm truly in E dominance? (If there really is such a thing). Just kind of pondering. Liz V.

So how does one KNOW if we have the E receptors? Ackkkkkkkkkkkkkk, it's all so confusing. O wells :)

Just a ponder.

Yeah, go with how you feel and since you have no uterine concerns, just take care that your thyroid is well, - test yourself for iodine deficiency if your temp is too low (below 97.6). Iodine sufficiency is supposed to protect all organs and tissues from cance (Dr. Abrahams).

Love,

Charlotte

PS: for anxiety, have you tried an adaptogen like Siberian Ginseng, Ashwagandha or the like...?

Actually, I have had zero night sweats since using the femring and a vivelle patch for the last few nights. I have been using them total of about 2 weeks.

I'm going to go test next week to see what my blood levels are. Will be interesting to see. As for the anxiety, I don't really have any right now, but I'm on valium so it's hard to say. As I slowly wean down from it, that will be the test I guess. :)

Top posting.. If you add up the mg of P you put in and consider that the liver can only process a certain amount each day... then where the heck does it go?    Dr. Formby speculated that it must stay in the fat and attach to the  organs.  There is no telling how long it could take to get out of us.  And it is reasonable to speculate that it is in there and not showing on the tests.  Accuracy would require biopsies and that isn't reasonable.  What we are left with is looking for the "footprint".   I'm able to get my E way down with the tabs, but I'm still not able to go to a normal place for normal gals.  Is that related to the P?  My period is miniscule.  Is that related?  The release on the P also depends on people metabolism and how active their fat is.  Dr. Formby agreed with my speculation that if a person has very inactive fat the P could be lodged in there (with all the chemicals in that HRT cream) and they could just go to the grave packed with P.  He didn't say it was an absolute.  He is much too cautious about his wording to ever say that.  LaurelHello, Okay, this might sound stupid but I'm still trying to figure what the heck happened to me and why I got hit so hard with anxiety. Thanks, Laurel for this reminder. I am still "watching" you to see how you do with the tabs :) Even though I SEEM to be doing well with the Femring and patch, I don't really like the ring in me. Though, not sure why :) Maybe I need to just give it up for now as long as my E symptoms seem to be under control some and worry about weaning off the valium and then starting from there. :) It's much more complicated now that I have been on these "F"ing benzo's for almost a year now :(
