Dr. Gluck worked with Dr. Bihari on LDN. He could possibly tell you the correct dosage for an 8 year old. Be sure to tell them the conditions your child has been diagnosed with. Thus a 60 pound child would receive about one-half the adult dose: 2mg each night at bedtime. Since she has and established autoimmune disorder, even if you have no way to accurately measure its effect, it would probalbly be important for her to continue on LDN nightly long term for the forseeable future. Antaxone is the comercial brand in some countries of Europe and it shell in pills o liquid, but is the same= 50mg de naltrexone. You can query vademecum of pharmacy I can't buy Revia in Spain, I buy Antaxone. You can't buy Antaxone in US, you buy Revia. MD PhD, a neurological researcher from the university of Milan, Italy and Dr.Jill SMith, Professor of Gaestroenterology at Penn STates Hershey Medical Centre who are researching LDN and I thing Dr. Jill is doing a small trial for Chrohns disease and also Seyni Nafo who was looking for the president of Mali to fund trials into LDN and AIds. Guest guest Posted February 17, 2006 Report Share Posted February 17, 2006 . I'm not sure if steroids and LDN mix well or not. I leave that question for the experts on this list to answer. What I do know is that steroid eye drops can thin out the corneas over time, and make them tender and sensitive. This is probably what you child is experiencing. If it gets worse I would call her Doctor. The script might be too strong for her. On paper steroids and LDN conflict ... in practice Dr Bihari has seen them compliment eachother under times of stress and infection. For example Dr Bihari advised Noel to stay on LDN during about of steroids. I don't think the LDN is affecting Sorcha .. I think 's answer is most likely the correct one.
