Guest guest
Hello, My name is Cheryl and I live with my husband (AS..not formally dx'd, but definitely AS!), my daughter (15) and my son (11, AS, dx'd at age 5). We have a really mixed up family because besides having 2 AS members, we're also a mixed race family. We face quite a few challenges and frustrations as a family, but also share much love. My son, daughter and I are often joyful and share much laughter between frustrations, whereas my husband, though loving, has a more somber, often grumpy demeanor. I'd really like to connect with other families and share experiences and coping tips. One of our most frustrating challenges at the moment is my son's extremely picky eating habits. He hardly likes anything, and what he does enjoy isn't very healthy. Anyone else going through this with a child? Any tips or just swapping stories would be great! I look forward to being part of this group and getting to know people here. --Cheryl
