Guest guest
I have just received the results for my 11/6/05 MRI and there has been absolutely no disease progress since my last MRI on 7/1/04. I have been on LDN since 8/20/04. In addition, I got umbilical cord stem cells on 10/15/05 and had my mercury fillings removed in January 2005. Something is working. Guest guest
If it makes you feel any better (which it probably won't) my joint healthy husband had to have MRIs ran on his back a few years ago. He was 35 at the time and has 4 disc protrusions, DJD, spinal stenosis, sciatica (a common lumbar radiculitis), and some other things that you do not have. This is in a seemingly healthy individual. He has MS, but that doesn't have anything to do with his spine joints. Unfortunately, as we age, our body will break down...and as we know, this happens sometimes sooner than we want! In MRI exams, they see a lot and f something is out of wack, a hint of not being completely normal, it usually gets reported. I know every time I get a set of xrays an there is alwys something new...it is totally frustrating. My son had to have a cat scan and came out with a medium sized arachnoid cyst. When they did the MRI to look at it further they found sinus cysts! Yes, technology is wonderful, but sometimes it really does tell us more than we need to know Shandi Results are not normal. Here is the list: DJD, Disc protrusion L3 to L5, annular tear, facet arthritis, mild spinal stenosis, lumbar radiculitis, a benign tumor Hemanogena?( very common I guess), OA, and while they were busy they discovered a cyst on my right ovary. Guest guest
I am right there with you. Maybe sometimes we do get a little to much information. On my last RA visit, after she reviewed my xrays and told me my back should not look this way until after I retire ( i am 42). Then she told me it worried her that when I stopped celebrex I got so stiff I could hardley move. And after that, low and behold...they found a mass in my breast, well at that point I sat down with tears in my eyes (thank God it was a muscle mass) so I asked how long did she think I had before I would become disabled to work..her words were...my job is to keep you from becoming disabled..the more you stress, the faster your disease with progress, so please, you pay me to make you better, I went to school for years to make you better, stop stressing and let me do my job. I left with a smile. I know its easier said than done, and I think what scares me the most is all of the medication and I think if I never was diagnosed would I be better off ??? But here we are....We have to trust them, we have to now leave it to God and our doctors..Hope this makes sense and helps...I hope everyone a pain free day....
