Subject: Doctors in Michigan who will prescribe LDN?

I'm new to the group today. I'm looking for doctors in Michigan who

will prescribe LDN for adults and/or children.

My mother has MS, EDS (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome), and Fibromyalgia.

She is on Interferon 1B and asked her doctor if she could go on LDN.

He told her he didn't see a reason for it and would not prescribe it,

but she has since has recurrances of the Fibro and MS. She had heard

that she would have to go off the Interferon 1B and go on Avonex

instead if she went on LDN. She's willing to switch, but cannot find

a doctor who will prescribe it. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

My daughter has ADHD and nonverbal learning disorder (NLD), which

some think is a milder form of Asperger's syndrome (I personally

don't think her symptoms fit for AS), but I have heard that NLD is

being used for AS and autism. I have tried GFCF (gluten free, casein

free) diet, digestive enzymes, more protein, less sugar and simple

carbs, less preservatives, food colors, occupational therapy, etc.

and all have helped, but she still is having significant social

issues in school. I would like to find a pediatrician who can help

her by prescribing LDN. "

I'm looking for a an LDN doctor in Michigan for a friend myself but I

thought I'd mention that you should join the Autism_LDN

group as there are a lot of parents in the group discussing the use of a

transdermal LDN application and there are compounders and " DAN " doc info

there that I'm sure you'd find useful. Good Luck. JoyceF
