Guest guest
Needing advice: How is the group handling charging when a speech pathologist receives an order for a swallowing evaluation and during the bedside eval they determine a video needs to be scheduled. Are they charging for the bedside eval and not for the video since we can only charge for one eval or are you forfeiting the bedside eval charge and going for the video charge? If you are charging for the video then how are you accounting for the time spent the day before for the bedside eval if you cannot get the video scheduled the same day? Am I missing something here? Our speech pathologists are struggling with this scenario. Terry Jett MBA,PT Reg Dir Rehab Svs Providence Medical Center Kansas City, Kansas E-mail: tjett@...
