Guest guest
Joanna, Dr. B is not by any means a rich man. If you think about it, I am a patient and paid $500 over 2 yrs ago. Now I pay $250 /yr for the update consult and script. At this rate , he is keeping his head above water. I know it sounds like alot of money, and it is, but he is not some fancy doc with a Park Avenue office, believe me, he is a very humble , kind man. who cares, but he has bills also. Guest guest
Joanna, I'm so sorry that you had that experience! That really puts a bee in my bonet. Is there a family member that can assist you with the consult fee? Perhaps you can save for it if you're working? If not any doctor, even your GP can prescribe it for you. Do you think you can find another doctor that is willing to do so? It doesnt have to come thru your neuro. Please keep us posted! I have faith that you will get your prescription! --jc i called dr. bihari's office today asking about a consult. i spoke to > a man named bill who sets up appts. i was sad to hear that dr. bihari > is once again out of commission due to a neck injury. but he will do a > phone consult. now i am pretty poor and i asked if he took medicare, > and the answer was no and the first phone consult would be $500 and > after that it is $250. i asked what poor people did and he said that > he could not help me and the conversation ended. as did my opportunity. > > joanna >
