Guest guest
did such a good job of getting those cards done. I was going to go looking for them and she had them on our site before I could get done. I asked her if she can tweak them at all and she said yes. (She said she used the ones from the AD board.) I would like it if they had an additional sentence on them, like, " Thanks for your Patience " or some other appreciation thought, it might be nice. She has agreed if I asked you all for some ideas, if she would add and she said yes. What do you all think? These do explain, but I just think they need a little warmth, do you? (Or she can maybe do a second page of a different kind.) Now remember, they are small cards and we can't put paragraphs on, but I know one of you or more, must have some ideas? Sandie? Imogene? Carol-In-Cog.? Thanks, if you would rather leave them like they are, please let us know. Hugs and Appreciation. Guest guest
Hi Donna, I printed out the cards out of Adobe with the picture on it that did and I think they are great. If it said, Thanks for your Patience, I think that would be great also. All I know is I could certainly have used one on Friday... :-) Carol Incognito In LBDcaregivers , " Donna Mido " wrote: > > did such a good job of getting those cards done. Guest guest
I don't have any ideas on this but I do want to relate something along the same lines. Recently I have had servers in restaurants that have been extraordinarily compasionate with Dad. In addition to a generous tip I've started leaving them a note about what an awesome job they did and thanked them for their kindness. Just an idea I wanted to pass on. > > If we don't use their logo and say it is ours, I > don't think it is a problem. I was thinking there > might be better language anyway. Guest guest
Thanks for all your suggestions. I updated the Companion Card folder in the Files section: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/LBDcaregivers/files/ to include * Companion Card (w/ Thanks for your patience) in Word & PDF * Companion Card (w/ LBD info) in Word & PDF * Thank You Card (for being so kind) in Word & PDF
Guest guest
Also in the folder... is LBDCaregivers Cards -- this is what I was going to hand out during the memory walk. It includes the URL address to join LBDCaregivers... If you meet someone who is also a caregiver to someone w/ LBD you can give them the card for them to join the group... You can easily print all the cards onto business card paper w/ perforations... It reads: LBDCaregivers A group to provide support and information for Lewy Body Dementia caregivers. Guest guest
has done a terrific job on the cards. She has made cards to fit just about any of us. I do agree Sharon, I like the added warmth of a Thank you. I was playing with an idea and sent it, but I am not totally happy with it. sent me a copy of what it would look like. I guess because it just isn't totally me. I'll think on it some more. Simplicity and warmth is my goal.
