Guest guest
Hey beth, I'm sure quite a few of us can relate to how much you hurt physically (and in your heart) for trying to bounce back into something you are quite passionate about. I'm sorry it was not a better experience for you. I've tried 2 or 3 times when I was completely out of work for those 18 months to somehow sneak in a little bit of my old life (my life " B.S. " as I call it, or " before Still's " ) and each time I'd make it one week or maybe even two before admitting to myself that I was tipping over into a flare.... it just breaks my heart that even when I've had a month of really decent days, that I cannot bring in the exercize, which was so dear to me, at even HALF the level that I left off at.... if I EVER try it again, it will be baby steps, and more weights and stretching and very tiny tiny baby steps with my beloved cardio, as I think that is the culprit. It just zaps any energy I had and puts me flat on my back..... good luck to you though, speedy recover, and I know this wont keep you down for long! Stay positive!!! Oh, and if the bruises are truly from not being injured, you may want your doctor to check your bleeding times and clotting factors.... that shouldn't be happening.... my best to you, hugs, Jo
