Guest guest
....besides that, those of us old enough to remember - organic {free-range} chickens, pork, beef, etc. just simply tastes better too. Eggs & chicken are far easier to come by than pork & beef, even in a farming area such as SW Iowa, where I live, but it can be found everywhere - only costs a bit more - well worth it, not only for the flavor, but certainly for the health benefits...Grumpa [low dose naltrexone] Re: LDN and children > Jackie, > > Also, try to start feeding your daughter organic meats. Guest guest
I would stay away from the pork because of the time required for it to properly digest. I love the stuff but quit eating it simply because with any disease involving the immune system, you do not need to be fighting digestion of food. You need all of your reserves to fight the disease. Most meats will digest within 3 to a maximum of 4 hours. Pork can take between 8 and 18 hours depending on whether or not it is cured. The chances of putting toxins back into your system as well as just working the body too hard to digest it in the first place is something really worth considering.
