Recommendations for Website Design Company incorporating online bill paying and possibly products?

I " designed " my current website www.LockeFamilyMedicine.com several years ago for my previous group.

I used the now defunct Microsoft FrontPage's templates and it worked ok - nothing fancy, but it got the job done at the time.

I then converted the design and text over to my new practice when the previous group dissolved in 2007 - basically updating the name to Locke Family Medicine.

I'm wanting to update the site and incorporate online bill pay (which I have now via a PayPal link) plus possibly sell some items online.

I have a patient portal through my EMR, so don't need that integrated directly - just a link.

There are some good web design companies out there (at least based on their online portfolios)...

     http://www.mednet-tech.com/portfolio.html      http://www.omedix.com/Services/medical_websites/custom_package.aspx

      http://www.physiciandesigns.com/physician-website-design.html      http://www.officite.com

....but many of them seem to want to design your website, but then keep you on the hook for $25-$75 per month for " maintenance " .

That monthly fee definitely adds up every year.

Anyone happy with their web design company?

I just want to update my current website -- and include the online bill payment and product selling, but not necessarily have to pay the high monthly fees.

I do want to be able to update information on the pages, but wouldn't need to necessarily be able to change pages and links around - - just want to be able to update the content without paying a website tech a bunch of money.

Suggestions?

Locke, MD
