Guest guest
One of my relatives has a multitude of medical problems. Scoliosis, sickle-cell anemia trait, lately multiple sclerosis and after being " caught " with sharp back pain that had her crumple to the floor & urinate due to the pain. She was hospitalized for more tests, had allergic reactions to morphine, then dilautin (sp) or some such where she almost itched raw & all swollen up before they gave her demerol for pain. They compared an mri I think it was with one they'de done only a couple months ago and found that a tiny " extra " disc at the base of the spine had grown a large bone spur and some other starting. The spur had not been there previously. So they are trying to decide what they can do about it. She is back home while they " research " possibilities. I know a lot of prevention type things may have helped .. but this is now! Any experience with DMSO and/or other substances with it .. or other possible approaches for this? Thanks for any suggestions I can pass on. Joyce Simmerman
