There were a few episodes where I had difficulty with customer service when I started with Vocalocity. However, once I had tacked down everything, I haven't had to contact them recently. The system has been fairly reliable over the past 2 years. The customer service for volcalocity is in the US, but they shut down after 5 pm. They now have somebody on call online and I have been able to get through.

I haven't had many opportunities to interact with ring central, but I had one problem that they responded to over the course of several days. I had paid for a professional recording and they did it. Unfortunately, the recording doesn't start randomly when you go through the phone tree. They refunded my money and said they will work on developing the program.

I have been generally pleased with both systems. I only have 2 phones on my office network. You may need better upload and download speeds if you are going to be running more phones. We found that we had some " choppy " calls when doing major offsite backups. We are doing our backups after hours.

I have checked out both Vocalocity and Ring Central.

 

Initially leaning toward Vocalocity, but Ring Central is a little cheaper and includes the fax capability within the cost -- vs Vocalocity where I would have to pay separately.

 

Anyway, the big concern I have with Ring Central is the multiple comments online about poor customer service.

 

Has customer service been an issue with you and your use of Ring Central?

 

What about Vocalicity's customer service?
