Guest guest
Janet, Whatever the cost of this toothpaste is it cannot compare to the costs of porcelain laminates/porcelain caps, roots needing surgical extraction from below the gum lines where the teeth broke off, cavities, and bridges to replace the lost teeth!!!! So, I encourage you to brush at least twice daily !!!! I had to get temporary porcelain laminates on my front teeth, which should last about 3-5 years - approx $1,000+ per tooth, until I can afford the permanent porcelain caps - $2,000+ per tooth. At least the temp porcelain laminates built up my front teeth enough so they look like a " full tooth " and I dare to smile again......... These front teeth were so brittle that bits/chips kept breaking off. I looked like a street person with all the broken and chipped off teeth. This (female) cosmetic dentist/surgeon is helping me out since I don't have insurance !!!! They are wonderful people out there................ Jan =========================================== .. Guest guest
Ouch Jan, your teeth seeem worse than mine. Mine was mostly gum disease and old caps that they say need replacing but i don't see it except the tone that ahem fell off recently and i swallowed. still haven't figured on what to do about that as the only problem seems that it is a dead tooth (root canal) with a filling solid enough and it's not loose much at all and just jagged is the problem. I think i'll leave it til after the holidays and then decided what to do. My only chipped tooth was due to biting my fingernails which i always did til i chipped that front tooth again. I quit biting my fingernails altogether and watch the peanut brittle type of thing!!!!! It's rather a discolored tooth but not street person quality yet :-) janet
