Sleep is my biggest hurdle. If I can sleep, I can cope with all the other WD symptoms during the day. I am beginning to learn to relax more with not sleeping instead of panicking. It's just such a bummer!!!! But now I know how bad things can get since the cold-turkey from Ativan! So I thank God for the stability I have, sleep or no sleep!! Guest guest
Hi Sharon, It's nice to meet you! I am fairly new around here, as are several others. I would love it if you would share your whole story with us. I agree with you about the SupraLife products, BTW. They did wonders for me. To recap: I went down 1 mg on Dec 7th and had to go back up .5 mg on Dec. 29. I felt better for 2 days. At this rate it'll take 20 years or more to go down the 11 mg I have to go. Each reduction gets harder and harder. In 2003 I reduced only twice. But then I did start at 80 mg. I've begun to think about just getting to 10 mg/day and giving up any thoughts of ever getting free of the stuff. The depression hits in spades. The undesireable effects, aka side effects, weren't as bad this time. I guess I could be grateful for small improvements but I'm really too depresssed.
