Guest guest
I just took a large container to the fertilizer co-op. It was $1.70 or $1.17 for 4 lbs. I mix the urea with distilled water. Actually, I've used EISilver because that's the closest thing I had to distiled water. Added the DMSO. Added more urea pellets..several tablespoons every other day as they dissolved. When the lid became salty from the urea (also known as nitrogen 46) precipitating out, I stopped adding urea. I put it in a spray bottle, spray it on my fingers and rub it where I want if the spray isn't needed. If I get a whiff of DMSO, I add another Tablespoon of urea pellets.. Yesterday I corrected my brother's dog mixture----he had a jelly jar that he'd filled with urea, then covered with dmso. Didn't work. The dog still smelled rank and the urea wasn't dissolved. So I chopped up the semi-solid urea, put it in a blender with a cup of EISilver and dissolved it. This had DMSO in it already. I added at least another cup of Urea pellets. At the half cup point I could no longer smell DMSO. It might take more Urea, don't know. had it in a pop bottle so I could see the pellets and the volume. I'd start with... 1 c water 1/2 c urea pellets dissolve. add 1 c DMSO Keep adding urea until the pellets (at least another 1/2 c, likely more) cease dissolving....let it sit overnight before you decide no more will dissolve into the solution.
